The shortage of spare parts in Russia, predicted by experts, has already begun. Service stations have already felt it and are offering to repair cars using non-original or even used parts.
No, it’s not a joke – used parts have indeed started to be installed, as reported by the media of the aggressor country. Moreover, this is often done by official service stations, not just by random mechanics in garages. Among them are BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Skoda, and even Porsche services.

Thus, air and oil filters, brake pads, and transmission oil for DSG have become scarce for VW. Owners of Volkswagen Polo, Taos, and Tiguan are especially affected.
In BMW X1 and Mercedes CLA, the lack of components makes it impossible to repair the transmission. Service stations for VAZ, Jaguar Land Rover, Subaru, and Mitsubishi have also reported problems with spare parts. At the same time, lawyers warn that using used or non-original components is grounds for a lawsuit against the service.
