In Dubai, an SUV was created, which makes even the six-wheeled G-Wagen seem like a Smart. The enormous Dhabiyan is comparable in size to a bus and is ten-wheeled.
The five-axle vehicle reaches 10.8 m in length, 2.5 m in width, and 3.2 m in height. This wonder weighs a whopping 24 tons.
The ten-wheeled SUV is built on the basis of the American army tractor Oshkosh M1075.
Its front part is borrowed from a 40s truck, while the back is taken from a Jeep Wrangler. In design, from the front, Dhabiyan resembles an old locomotive. The SUV has as many as four spare wheels.
To move this giant, a 15.2-liter Caterpillar diesel engine with a capacity of 600 hp is installed. Of course, the maneuverability of Dhabiyan is not much better than that of an aircraft carrier, but there is plenty of space in the desert to ride around.
