by The Ministry of Economy has published a list of car models subject to transport tax in 2024. As reported by “Ukravtoprom”, the list includes a total of 184 models of such brands as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rivian, Tesla, and more. The tax amount is 25,000 UAH. It must be paid by individuals within 60 days of receiving the notification; by legal entities – in advance payments quarterly by the 30th of the month following the reporting quarter, which are reflected in the annual tax return. The tax applies to cars up to 5 years old and valued at least 375 minimum salaries, i.e., from 2,662,500 UAH. Currently, the minimum wage in Ukraine is 7,100 UAH. But where is Rolls-Royce on the list? We didn’t find it… Although they exist, and moreover, a brand-new electric Rolls-Royce was recently imported for 600,000 euros. Isn’t it considered luxurious? And supercars like McLaren in Ukraine seem to be quite common too. Maybe the Ministry has a reason to use data on supercars in Ukraine regularly published by TopGir?
