Pininfarina, together with JAS Motorsport, has revealed new details of the Honda NSX restomod named Tensei. The project was presented at the Milano Design Week, showcasing altered proportions, design, and technical concept. This is reported by “Carscoops”.
The model received a completely new carbon fiber body but retained the key features of the original NSX. In particular, the pop-up headlights and integrated rear spoiler were kept, adapted to a modern style.
Honda NSX Tensei: Altered Proportions and New Body

The main focus was on the body geometry. Compared to the original, the sports car has a longer wheelbase, a wider track, and a lower stance. The rear overhang was shortened, and the wheels became larger.
Extended rear fenders form characteristic “triangular” lines, which are a signature element of Pininfarina. The changes also emphasize a more aggressive stance of the car.
Pininfarina Honda NSX: Naturally Aspirated V6 and Manual Transmission

Under the body, the naturally aspirated V6, built on the basis of the original NSX architecture, remains. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
No electrification or turbocharging is planned. The focus is on responsiveness and handling.
The interior was redesigned with a focus on the driver. The ergonomics of the original were preserved, but new materials and individual control elements were used. An analog instrument panel is expected.
Production will be organized manually at the JAS Motorsport facility in Italy. Personalization will be carried out at the Pininfarina base in Cambiano. The full presentation of the model is scheduled for 2026.
