Photos of the New Car of US President Joe Biden Emerge

The new, 46th President of the USA, Joseph Biden inherited from his predecessor, Donald Trump, not only state affairs but also the official car. Now, a long-time Corvette enthusiast will be riding in a bulletproof limousine Cadillac One – Joe already appeared in this car at his inauguration.

The presidential Cadillac One is a real fortress on wheels, and information about it is scarce for understandable reasons. Rumor has it that the car weighs about 10 tons: such a high mass is explained by the fact that the car is equipped with an armored capsule. It is built on the base of a heavy pickup, but there is another version that the base of ‘The Beast’ (another name for the presidential car) is the Cadillac Escalade SUV. Externally, the limousine resembles the Cadillac CT6 sedan (although there is also a resemblance to the Escalade). The body thickness of the car is 15 cm (like that of a civilian aircraft), and the glass is 10 cm thick.

Additionally, the limousine is equipped with special tires reinforced with Kevlar protection, plus there is protection against bacterial and biological weapons, special guns for deploying smoke screens and dispersing tear gas, a fire extinguishing system, an emergency oxygen supply in the cabin, and even a mechanism for delivering an electric charge through the door handles activated in case of attack.

Finally, inside the car is a refrigerator storing blood of the same type and Rh factor as the President’s, as well as a defibrillator and other medical equipment. However, the interior trim is rather modest – the cabin of Cadillac One is upholstered in regular velour. Incidentally, Biden now has not one, but two of these Cadillac Ones. The task of the second car is to confuse malefactors: they should not know in which limousine the head of state is located.
