A TopGir subscriber accidentally discovered the rarest Morgan Aero where he didn’t expect to see it at all. The car not only stands out with its striking color but is also notable for being the confiscated neo-retro car from Davyd Zhvania.

According to the photographer, he arrived at the station specializing in SUVs (as evidenced by its name – “Vezdehod”), so he was very surprised to spot an exclusive passenger car “hidden” afar. Interestingly, it was recently burgundy, but now, as seen in the photo, it has turned gold-green.
Previously, it was silver, let’s recall. It is worth noting that this Morgan not only has a complicated fate but also a very interesting biography. Besides being hand-assembled like other Morgans using a 100-year-old technology with an ash wood frame, this particular Morgan Aero 8 was fitted with an automatic transmission specifically for the family of a Ukrainian politician.

Now pay attention – for the first time in the brand’s history, an AUTOMATIC transmission was installed on this model at the factory in England. It’s hard to even imagine how much this cost, given Morgan’s adherence to its traditions. The company still uses some pre-war tools, and the body parts are perfected for hours.
After Zhvania’s assets were seized, Morgan Aero and his other cars were put up for auction by SETAM, and the starting price turned out to be quite high – 3.1 million hryvnias. Nevertheless, a buyer was found, and the slightly battered car was restored.

The sports car is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine from BMW producing 333 hp. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a speed of about 260 km/h.
