Let us immediately note that in this case, it is about Russian and Belarusian representatives, not about Renault’s position in general. By the way, due to the exit from the Russian market, the French automotive group Renault suffered losses of 2.3 billion euros. At least, that’s what RIA News writes, referring to the company’s reports.
In this case, we are talking about a new scheme involving Belarus. Russians have the opportunity to buy a new Renault crossover from an official dealer, but for this, they have to go to neighboring Belarus. Yes, the company Autopromservice, the official importer of Renault in the Republic of Belarus, offers Russians to buy new cars through them. Moreover, here you can order models that are not and have never been in Russia. Among them, for example, is the Renault Koleos of Korean assembly in the updated version of the 2022 model year!
The cost of such a Renault Koleos at Belarusian dealers is 3,590,000 “rubles”, and it can be paid in Russian rubles and receive a complete package of documents for registration in the Russian Federation. Besides Koleos, Russians can also purchase other Renault models:
