by You can’t surprise anyone these days with hypercar and even electric vehicle drag racing. The Brits from Carwow decided to take a non-standard approach and compare commercial vans. 
For the sprint, they chose a new Mercedes Sprinter, as well as its main competitors – Ford Transit and Volkswagen Crafter. All of them are equipped with two-liter turbo diesels. The Mercedes engine is 163 horsepower, the Ford – 170 horsepower, and the Volkswagen – 177 horsepower.
Interestingly, the new Sprinter is equipped with an automatic transmission, while the other vans have a manual one. Mercedes and Volkswagen are rear-wheel drive, and Ford’s drive is front. By the way, the drag result is quite unexpected.
