As it is known, since August 22, new fines for cars with Euro plates for customs violations are in effect in Ukraine. While the Verkhovna Rada has not adopted a new delay, the SFS is actively fining cars with Euro plates.
The fiscal authorities reported that from August 22 to September 4, 243 fines were issued. This concerns violations of Art. 470 (exceeding the deadline for delivering goods, commercial vehicles, customs or other documents on these goods by more than ten days as stipulated by Article 95 of this Code – ed.) and Art.
481 (exceeding the term of temporary importation of goods into the customs territory of Ukraine or the term for temporary exportation of goods outside the customs territory of Ukraine by more than ten days) of the Customs Code of Ukraine. In the first case, the fine amounts to 8500 hryvnias, in the second – 17 thousand hryvnias. However, if the transit or temporary import period is exceeded by 30 days, the violator may face a fine of 170 thousand hryvnias or confiscation of the car.
