First official images of the new Leapmotor A10 electric crossover
Leapmotor has released the first photos of the new A10 compact electric crossover, which will debut at the auto show in Guangzhou, China. This model is also planned for sale in Europe, and will later be joined by a compact hatchback.
Model positioning and design
The new A10 will occupy a position in the model range below the B10, showcasing clean body lines, rounded details, and glass surfaces reminiscent of Citroen’s styling. The model is presented in Seaweed Green and Acorn Brown colors, with alloy wheels and darkened LED light clusters.
The crossover’s length is estimated at 4200-4300 mm, which is typical for the compact SUV segment. Lidar sensors on the roof and profile sensors indicate the presence of an advanced ADAS system for driver assistance.
Interior and technical features
The A10’s interior is likely to feature a minimalist dashboard with a large multimedia system screen and five seats. The manufacturer describes the model as a “smart, premium crossover with a long range.” Although technical details have not yet been disclosed, the A10 is expected to have a single electric motor and competitive range.

Market plans and competitors
In addition to China, the A10 and the upcoming A05 hatchback, scheduled for 2026, will be available in Europe alongside the existing T03, B05, B10 and C10 models. In China, the main competitor for the A10 will be the BYD Yuan Up, while in Europe it will face electric crossovers such as the Citroen e-C3 Aircross, Kia EV3, Renault 4 E-Tech and others.
Brand sales dynamics
Leapmotor demonstrated significant growth in 2025: 395,516 cars were sold worldwide from January to September, which is 129% more than in the same period last year. October was the sixth consecutive month with record sales – 70,289 units, allowing the brand to surpass the 1 million cars sold milestone.
The appearance of the A10 indicates Leapmotor’s strategy to strengthen its presence in global markets, particularly in Europe, where demand for affordable electric vehicles continues to grow. Stellantis’ investments in the brand and partnerships, such as cooperation with German tuning studios, could enhance the model’s competitive advantages. The success of the A10 could determine Leapmotor’s further expansion in the compact electric vehicle segment, which is becoming increasingly competitive thanks to new models from European and Asian manufacturers.
