Bugatti and C SEED created a folding MicroLED TV inspired by the Tourbillon
If you are one of those people who can afford a Bugatti but cannot park it in your living room, something new has arrived for you. This is the C Seed Bugatti N1 — simultaneously a television and a kinetic sculptural work of art. It will likely cost as much as an ordinary supercar. So what would you choose: this or something like a Porsche 911 GT3?
Inspiration from the Tourbillon and unique design
Developed jointly with the Austrian premium display manufacturer C Seed, the new N1 is directly inspired by the design of the Tourbillon. When turned off, it resembles a high-end sculptural cabinet with smooth lines and a profile influenced by Bugatti’s signature C-line. However, at the push of a button, the casing unfolds within 45 seconds, transforming into a 4K MicroLED display measuring 110 or 137 inches diagonally.

The idea behind the N1 is intended to reflect Bugatti’s recent philosophy of “screen detoxification,” which can be seen in the Tourbillon. Instead of dominating the room with a huge black rectangle, the display completely disappears when not in use, leaving behind what looks like a meticulously crafted piece of furniture.
Theatrical unfolding and advanced technology
Upon activation, the screen uses a central sliding mechanism and a multi-stage unfolding process, turning TV viewing into a theatrical event. The display can also rotate 180 degrees, allowing owners to change its position according to different seating arrangements.
C Seed has built its reputation precisely on such technological solutions. Its Porsche Design folding TV uses a similar system of micro-LED panels, which rises vertically before unfolding, with the audio system integrated into the structure rather than attached afterwards.

Beneath the impressive transformation lies serious hardware. The N1 is equipped with 4K MicroLED technology, HDR10+ support, a Bugatti-style finish inspired by the Tourbillon, carbon fiber elements, and C Seed’s Adaptive Gap Calibration system, which minimizes visible seams between the panels of the folding screen. The Wisdom Audio system is integrated into the structure, with speakers that extend upon activation and retract when not needed.
Price and availability
Bugatti and C Seed have not announced a price, which usually means that anyone asking cannot afford it anyway. Other C Seed products typically start at around $200,000. We have a feeling that the Bugatti-branded version will not be cheaper.
Previously, C Seed’s folding TV in collaboration with Porsche Design cost about $400,000, although that collaboration reached all the way to a 221-inch screen. We suspect the Bugatti-branded version will not be cheaper.
This work of technological art is another example of how luxury brands are expanding the boundaries of their aesthetics beyond automobiles. The Bugatti N1 is not just a TV, but a way to integrate design philosophy and engineering into an interior, transforming an ordinary household appliance into an object of art. For those who can afford such a purchase, it will undoubtedly become a luxury item and conversation piece, emphasizing the owner’s status no less than the car itself.
