Dodge expands the Durango lineup for 2026
Dodge has unveiled the updated lineup of full-size Durango SUVs for 2026. Among the new additions are versions with Hemi engines, including the powerful Hellcat and the R/T trim with the Blacktop Redline package. The brand also announced the tenth-anniversary Roadkill Nights event.
The base Durango GT will be equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, while the R/T will get a 5.7-liter V8. The new Blacktop Redline package will add leather-suede upholstery, a sport hood, and red stitching. For fans of high-performance versions, the Tow N Go package, which increases towing capacity to 8,700 pounds, will remain available.
Anniversary Roadkill Nights
In August 2026, the tenth-anniversary edition of Roadkill Nights will take place in Detroit. The event traditionally includes drag racing, new vehicle presentations, and an auto show. This year, visitors will have the opportunity to test-drive the new 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack.
“Roadkill Nights celebrates its tenth anniversary thanks to Dodge fans who have supported the event since it was held in the Silverdome parking lot,” said Matt McAllister, CEO of Dodge.
Interestingly, Dodge has not yet revealed details about the Durango Hellcat, only hinting at possible changes in specifications. At the same time, the company has updated the wheel design for the R/T version, but all prices are listed excluding the $1,995 destination fee. Full details about the new models are expected closer to the end of the year.
