A new Brabus D40 was spotted in Kyiv. This is a rather atypical Mercedes Brabus in Ukraine and there are only a few such cars on our roads.

And it’s not even about the fact that the car is based on the new Mercedes GLE Coupe. The secret is hidden under the hood. The Brabus D40 did not receive a massive V8 – it’s diesel, and the power of the three-liter six-cylinder engine was increased from 330 to 370 hp. The maximum torque has increased to a respectable 750 N∙m.

The coupe-crossover demonstrates a decent dynamic performance for a diesel car. Acceleration to a hundred takes 5.5 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h. Meanwhile, the Brabus D40 consumes 9.4 liters per 100 km in the city and 6.3 liters per 100 km on the highway.

Only 40 Brabus D40 were produced in total. Such a crossover is not exorbitantly expensive – in Germany it is priced at 135 thousand euros. By the way, another diesel Mercedes Brabus was recently seen in Kyiv.
