In Ukraine, the iconic Mercedes of the ’90s is being sold at the price of a new Lamborghini Huracan

In Ukraine, an iconic Mercedes SL 73 AMG, which is considered the “grandfather” of the Pagani Zonda R supercar, has been put up for sale. After all, it was from this model that Pagani inherited the 7.3-liter engine. In 1999, the price of this version exceeded 300,000 marks. In Ukraine, however, the rare car is being offered… for 350,000 euros!

Of course, the SL 73 AMG is a very rare and truly collectible machine (with a run of 85 units), but firstly, it is not customs cleared (Polish registration, but the car is located in Kyiv).

Secondly, two years ago, a similar youngtimer Mercedes SL73 was sold for 200,000 dollars. Although, perhaps not similar, but the very same. Has it almost doubled in value over two years?

Either way, let us recall that this convertible Mercedes R129 was very, very fast in the ’90s — 4 and a half seconds to a hundred!
