The Grand Tour TV show is coming to an end. The final episode of the automotive program hosted by Jeremy Clarkson will air on September 13 and its trailer has already been released. This was reported by Focus. The final episode of The Grand Tour is titled One For the Road and is dedicated to a journey through Africa. The trio of presenters drove through Zimbabwe in vintage sports cars from the 70s. Jeremy Clarkson chose a Lancia Beta Montecarlo coupe, Richard Hammond drove a Ford Capri, and James May drove a Triumph Stag convertible. The Grand Tour show was first aired in 2016 after the hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond left the Top Gear show on the BBC. The reason for this decision was Clarkson’s fight with a producer. The Grand Tour partly retained the Top Gear format but focused on traveling to remote corners of our planet. The show was popular, but the hosts repeatedly admitted that as they aged, it became increasingly difficult for them to endure shooting in extreme conditions. This was the reason for the show’s closure. The hosts will focus on other projects, including the continuation of filming for the ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ show.
