The first owner paid over €325,000 ($369,000) for custom specifications: the body is painted in a combination of Italian Red and Nocturne. Red is rarely seen on a Bugatti, but on the Mistral it works flawlessly — adding a pure, exotic look without being overly flashy. Black wheels and red brake calipers complete the image.

Power from a Legend
Inside, the cabin features Italian Red and Beluga Black leather, perfectly harmonizing with the exterior. The odometer shows only 516 km, and the factory protective film still remains on the door sills. Under the hood is the same 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 as in the Chiron Super Sport 300+: 1,578 horsepower and 1,599 Nm of torque. It accelerates to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds, to 124 mph in 5.6 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 282 mph.

The Mistral has all the prerequisites to become an extremely desirable collector car for decades to come. The most significant of these is that it is the last Bugatti with the iconic quad-turbo W16, which once set records in the Veyron and Chiron.
Paying a price significantly higher than the original for a car that will never again come off the assembly line is common practice in the hypercar market. The lot is already up for auction.

This Mistral is not just a rare car, but a symbol of the end of an entire era in Bugatti’s history. The W16 is now a thing of the past, having given way to the Tourbillon’s hybrid system, so collectors are willing to pay a premium for the last examples.
