The introduction of martial law in certain regions of Ukraine and protests by owners of uncustomed cars with Euro numbers are the two most important news items of recent days. Strangely enough, these events may be interconnected.
As you understand, during martial law, any rallies and protest actions are not allowed, and the activities of public organizations may be prohibited as well. Of course, the supporters of “Euro-cars” mainly block roads on the western borders of Ukraine, where the special regime has not been introduced. Although yesterday they held an action in Vinnytsia, and this city is subject to martial law.

Moreover, the legislation grants the right to stop vehicles for inspection and document verification. Given the protests, law enforcement may show increased interest in cars with Euro plates. And finally, it should not be forgotten that during martial law, vehicles may be confiscated for defense needs. Naturally, this provision also applies to uncustomed cars.
