“Volga” GAZ-24 Time Capsule: Condition and History of the Specimen

According to the owner, the car had only one owner since its release. The sedan was kept in a garage all the time, which helped avoid corrosion and visible signs of body aging. The paint coating has remained original, without local repairs or painting of individual elements.

The car’s mileage is only 10 thousand km. The body color is blue, which is considered classic for this model. The seller notes that all parts are preserved in factory condition.
GAZ-24 “Volga”: A Rare Specimen Without Restoration

In the 1970s, the GAZ-24 model was considered one of the most prestigious in the Soviet automotive industry. Such sedans were used by services, enterprise managers, and were often associated with status. To this day, most “Volgas” of this generation have survived after several repairs or with significant changes from the factory specification.
Specimens with minimal mileage and no interference in the construction are becoming increasingly rare on the market. That is why such cars are often positioned as so-called “time capsules” that have preserved their original appearance and technical condition.
