You’ve Seen Fast Camaros, Now Meet the Tee-ZL1

Electric Golf Cart Gets Aggressive Chevrolet Camaro Makeover

For golfers who want to stand out on the course and don’t wish to blend in with the crowd of standard beige carts, there is an unusual alternative. Before you is a regular E-Z-Go electric golf cart that, thanks to custom work, has received the full appearance of a Chevrolet Camaro.

This particular specimen was recently sold at auction for $6,565, demonstrating the existence of a market for those who want their golf course transportation to reflect more personality. The work was done by Caddyshack Golf Cars, which specializes in creating golf carts styled after full-size automobiles.

Exterior and Interior Details of the Custom Cart

The front of the cart includes headlights, grilles, and air intakes similar to those installed on the sixth-generation Camaro, giving its exterior a much more aggressive look. A set of chrome wheels and a rear end that also copies the Camaro complete the image. There is a large storage compartment for clubs at the back.

Despite the confident exterior, the powertrain has remained untouched. This means performance matches that of a regular electric golf cart, regardless of how much it looks like it should launch rapidly from a standstill.

The interior has also received updates: an Alcantara headliner, as well as leather and Alcantara seats with orange trim and contrast stitching.

Other Car-Inspired Models from the Same Manufacturer

Caddyshack Golf Cars offers a whole range of similar projects. Their lineup includes golf carts styled after the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, as well as a model that mimics the look of the Shelby Cobra.

A Porsche 356 Speedster replica is also available, as well as another Camaro-bodied golf cart finished in bright blue for those who prefer something more noticeable than burnt orange.

The popularity of such custom golf carts indicates that even in a niche segment, there is demand for personalization and exclusivity. These projects combine the functionality of a slow-moving course vehicle with the aesthetics of powerful sports cars, creating a unique hybrid of fun and style. Such transformations can serve not only for playing golf but also become a unique attraction on private property or at a resort.
