ARB Prepares Accessories for the New Kia Tasman Pickup
The Kia Tasman, a new mid-size pickup, is being actively discussed among car enthusiasts, especially ahead of its official launch on the Australian market. Local tuning brand ARB has presented renders of accessories that will enhance the model’s off-road capabilities and practicality. Among the planned updates are bumpers with a redesigned look, additional LED lights, roof racks, and special canopies.
ARB has shown two bumper variants equipped with protection and recovery points. One of them features a powerful “bull bar” that protects the front wings and doors. Additional LED lights for night off-road driving are also available. For those planning long adventures, special canopies with an additional spare wheel, folding ladders, and extra roof racks are offered.
Official and Tuning Options from Kia
Kia also expects the pickup to be popular among tuning enthusiasts. The manufacturer is preparing its own accessories, including roof racks, sports bars, body protection, and even a snorkel. Furthermore, the company is considering the release of a more powerful Tasman Weekender version, which could become a competitor to the Ford Ranger Raptor.
According to reports from Australian media, the Tasman could become Kia’s most popular model in the region, with predicted sales of around 20,000 units per year. This is roughly a quarter of the planned global production. Given the interest in the pickup and the wide range of accessories, these figures seem quite achievable. Additionally, Kia does not rule out the appearance of hybrid and electric versions in the future.
Both brands – Kia and ARB – are betting on the Tasman’s versatility, offering solutions for both everyday use and extreme conditions. Considering that the off-road pickup market in Australia is highly competitive, the model’s success will largely depend on the quality and availability of additional options.
