The French atelier Garage 4×4 Balleydier performed a very unusual tuning of the Duster. The popular budget crossover was transformed into an original track off-road vehicle.

The Duster pickup was taken as a basis – it is produced by the Romanian company Romturingia, which even makes cars for the Pope. The crossover’s rear part is cut off and a cargo platform is installed in its place, allowing transportation of up to 500 kg.

The French went further by replacing the wheels with tracks. This significantly improved the Duster’s off-road capability but limited its maximum speed to 60 km/h. However, the tracks can be easily removed and the vehicle can be quickly switched back to wheels.

The Duster pickup is equipped with a 1.5-liter 110-horsepower turbodiesel engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and all-wheel drive. It costs 22,546 euros, plus another 14,800 euros for the tracked drive, meaning such an off-road vehicle will cost 37,346 euros – like a hybrid Toyota Camry, for example.
