The rarest GAZ cars are put up for sale by the St. Petersburg Smirnov’s Design Bureau, where these vintage cars were restored and recreated, reports Carakoom. All are built on the GAZ-M1 platform.

For example, the fastest pre-war Soviet car is for sale – the GAZ GL-1 from 1938. At one time, this streamlined 100-horsepower car reached a speed of 140 km/h. A replica was built by Smirnov’s Design Bureau in 2000. A Collection of Unique Soviet Cars Put Up for Sale

Unique six-wheel vehicles are also being sold – an off-road vehicle GAZ-25 and a pickup GAZ-21 (not to be confused with Volga 21).

The GAZ M-415 pickup comes with a dummy mortar in the body. Only a few such cars have survived to this day. The GAZ-61-73 is also rare – one of the world’s first mass-produced all-wheel-drive vehicles.
