From now on, road repair in Ukraine can be monitored via the internet. The relevant portal was launched by the Office of Effective Regulation (BRDO).
The new service will allow users to see what funds are allocated for road work and how they are being used. In particular, one can review tender documentation, monitor the use of money for roads, and ensure road safety. It is also possible to monitor road repairs across different regions, as well as work on highways of national and local significance.
There is also a special calculator that allows drivers to calculate the sum of excise paid. Recall that from each liter of fuel sold, 0.16 euros goes to the Road Fund. 60% of the funds go to national highways, 35% to local roads, and 5% to road safety.
