A rare 1977 Mercedes-Benz W100 600 Pullman Landaulet has been put up for sale in Germany. This is one of 59 Landaulets built and one of 32 four-door examples. The car is fully restored, has original components, and has 40,500 km on the odometer. This is reported by “Mechatronik”.

The W100 series was produced from 1963 to 1981, with a total of about 2,677 cars assembled. The Landaulet version became the rarest. The model received a folding soft top in the rear part of the body, allowing passengers to ride with the top open.

Under the hood is a 6.3-liter V8 engine producing 250 hp. The top speed reaches about 205 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes approximately 9.7 seconds. The engine works in tandem with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The hydraulic system creates a pressure of 150 bar and controls 15 functions, including the suspension, power windows, and seat adjustment.

According to the production order dated September 22, 1977, the car was built for the President of Togo, Gnassingbé Eyadéma. The first registration took place in 1978.

The body was originally black with grey leather. During the restoration, the black lacquer paint was preserved, and the interior received red leather. In 2021, 30,000 euros were invested in spare parts. The car has a Classic Data rating of 1 and is kept in a collection. The price is available upon request.
