Ferrari has expanded the 12Cilindri family with a special Manuale version, which features an unusual interpretation of a manual gearbox. The new model will be produced in a limited edition of 1,499 units as part of the Tailor Made personalization program. Buyers will have to pay about 190,000 euros extra for this modification compared to the standard model. This is reported by Auto Express.
The Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale gets an unusual manual gearbox

Despite the name, the car is not equipped with a classic manual transmission. The construction is still based on the standard eight-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox, but Ferrari has developed a new control system that simulates the operation of a six-speed ‘manual’.
Inside, a gear lever with an open gate mechanism and a clutch pedal are installed. However, they have no mechanical connection to the transmission; instead, they operate using by-wire technology, recreating the feel of driving a car with a traditional manual gearbox.
After starting the engine, the car operates in a normal automatic mode. To switch to the ‘manual’ mode, the driver needs to press the clutch pedal, which then activates the simulation of a six-speed gearbox.
The Ferrari V12 Manuale retains the 818 hp engine

The powertrain remains unchanged. The supercar is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 818 hp, which revs up to 9500 rpm.
Key specifications of the new model:
- Naturally aspirated V12 engine, 6.5 liters;
- Power 818 hp;
- Simulation of a six-speed manual gearbox;
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds;
- Top speed 338 km/h;
- Production run of 1,499 cars.

The Manuale version also features exclusive design elements, including new forged five-spoke wheels, silver Ferrari emblems, and a Manuale badge on the front fenders. Additionally, the body is adorned with thin decorative stripes that reference the classic Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona.
