Chrysler celebrates the 250th anniversary of the USA with a Canadian minivan

Chrysler introduces a special edition of the Pacifica for the 250th anniversary of the USA

Stellantis is the official automotive sponsor of the America250 celebration, which has already led to several special series. Ram started this tradition with the 1500 model, and Dodge released a unique Durango.

Now it is Chrysler’s turn, and the situation becomes somewhat unusual, as the brand’s only vehicle is built in Canada. However, this did not prevent the company from introducing the Pacifica America250, which will be available exclusively in Red Hot, Bright White, and Hydro Blue colors.

Design and Exterior

Created to honor “the unbreakable spirit of America and the freedom to explore,” the special edition is based on the entry-level Pacifica Select trim. It features a slightly updated exterior with star decals on the front bumper and front doors. These are complemented by graphic flag images and America250 badges.

The minivan also follows the “blacked-out” style trend: it has dark accents on the grille, mirrors, and rear bumper. Buyers will also see black emblems and 20-inch wheels painted in Foreshadow color.

Interior and Features

The patriotic theme continues inside the vehicle. Perforations on the black leather seats reveal blue accents. They are complemented by exclusive Ruby Red contrast stitching and embossed American flags on the front seats.

Additionally, the cabin is equipped with Dark Ruby seat belts, Liquid Titanium colored trim frames, and an America250 splash screen on the 7-inch instrument cluster display. Other features include an America250 key fob and a steering wheel with red, silver, and blue stitching.

Since the special edition is based on the Select trim, one can expect the inclusion of acoustic windshield, power sliding doors and liftgate, rain sensors. Also on the list are a 10.1-inch infotainment system, heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, and a six-speaker audio system.

Technical Specifications and Pricing

Like the standard model, the Pacifica America250 is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine producing 287 hp (214 kW / 291 PS) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be combined with an optional all-wheel-drive system.

Production is limited to 2,100 units, and the starting price is $46,540 excluding a $1,995 delivery fee. This may seem somewhat expensive, but the America250 package itself costs only $2,995. Moreover, buyers can save $495 by foregoing the exterior decals.

If this minivan suits you, you can place an order today. Deliveries are expected this summer.

Pricing
2027 PACIFICA A250 FWD AWD
Pacifica Select $43,545 $46,540
A250 Package $2,995 $2,995
MSRP $46,540 $49,535

Interestingly, Chrysler is releasing a patriotic version to honor the 250th anniversary of the USA, even though the minivan itself is manufactured in Canada. This underscores the global nature of modern automotive manufacturing, where borders are becoming increasingly conditional. The limited production run of 2,100 units makes this model quite exclusive, and the possibility to save money by opting out of the decals shows that the company listens to different customer tastes. It is worth noting that the price of the special edition is noticeably higher than the base Select trim, which may impact demand, especially given the recent price reduction on the standard model.
