Unique 2025 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Built for Off-Roading and Charity
Anduril Industries, RealTruck, and Palmer Luckey, known for Oculus VR, have unveiled an exclusive version of the Chevrolet Silverado pickup. This vehicle is a one-off model and will soon be sold at auction for charitable purposes.
If you’re looking for a pickup with an open top, the only production option on the market is the mid-size Jeep Gladiator. However, if you’re willing to make certain compromises, you can get this customized 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
Design Features and Off-Road Potential
Created in collaboration between RealTruck and Palmer Luckey, this vehicle is based on the Silverado Z71 trim. It features a rugged front bumper with an integrated winch. Also noticeable are fender-mounted lights on the hood and along the top of the windshield.
Further along the body, the vehicle is equipped with widened wheel arches and black Rhino wheels wrapped in aggressive off-road tires. These are complemented by special tube doors, unique side mirrors, and minimalist side steps.
The companies didn’t go into full detail, but the model features a RealTruck Ascend Cap camper shell as well as a roof rack for storing recovery ramps. Other features include lime green recovery points and a 6-inch Superlift suspension lift.
Interior and Technical Specifications
Inside, leather seats with special headrests are fitted, featuring the green logo of Anduril Industries. Upon closer inspection, Husky floor liners are also visible.

Under the hood sits a 6.2-liter V8 engine, which likely produces the stock 420 hp (313 kW) and 623 Nm of torque.
Auction and Charitable Cause
This pickup will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Columbus on June 27. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Call of Duty Endowment. This organization helps military veterans transition to civilian life by assisting them in finding high-quality jobs.
This project demonstrates how the automotive industry and technology companies can join forces not only to create unique vehicles but also to support important social initiatives. While the production Jeep Gladiator remains the only factory pickup with an open top, custom projects like this show that through tuning, a similar experience can be achieved on a full-size pickup basis, such as the Silverado. It is worth noting that the use of the standard 6.2-liter V8 engine without modifications indicates that the focus of this project was on off-road capability and visual style, rather than increasing power. The charity auction adds special significance to this story, transforming a unique vehicle into a tool for helping veterans.
