Exclusive Bicycle from Bugatti
High-quality carbon bicycles have always been expensive, often crossing the threshold of several thousand dollars. However, it is rare to see a model whose price exceeds the cost of a brand-new Toyota Corolla. This is precisely what the new product from the legendary car manufacturer is.
Bugatti, known as the creator of the world’s fastest production cars, decided to transfer its obsession with speed into the world of cycling. For this, the brand joined forces with the British firm Factor Bikes, an expert in creating racing bicycles. The finished product, named the Bugatti Factor One, is limited to only 250 units worldwide and, like Bugatti road cars, uses exotic materials in its construction.
Aerodynamics and Design
The bicycle features a fully carbon frame, designed for minimal air resistance, and is adorned with Bugatti’s signature two-tone blue paint. A massive white Bugatti logo is also placed along the frame, so anyone who sees you on this bicycle will instantly understand that your pockets are overflowing with cash.
Carbon in Every Detail
In addition to the carbon frame, the Factor One includes ultra-lightweight wheels weighing only 1298 grams (2.8 pounds) per pair, again thanks to carbon construction. The bicycle also has a carbon seat post, a carbon chainring, carbon cranks, and disc brakes with a central carbon housing. Bugatti and Factor One even collaborated with Continental to create special tires for it.
“The Bugatti Factor One is not just a bicycle. It is a statement. This project forces us to rethink every assumption and push engineering boundaries just as Bugatti has done in the automotive world for over a century.”
Pricing Policy and Comparison
Bugatti does not disclose prices, but Factor Bikes fills this gap, confirming a starting figure of $23,599. For comparison, this is more than the cost of a brand-new Toyota Corolla, whose price starts at $22,925. Yes, this is a bicycle that costs more than an actual car.
Similar collaborations between the worlds of luxury cars and niche sports equipment are becoming increasingly common, demonstrating that the premium market craves uniqueness and exclusivity in any form. The Factor One bicycle is not so much a means of transport as it is a collectible item and a status symbol, combining Bugatti’s engineering heritage with high-tech cycling. This indicates that the concepts of luxury and performance extend far beyond four wheels, finding new ways of expression through materials, design, and limited series.
