The State of Sedans in the Markets
While sedans have lost popularity in the United States, in Mexico, Dodge continues to go its own way. There, the company still offers the compact Attitude model in the base trim, with a starting price of 399,000 Mexican pesos, which is a little over $23,000 at the current exchange rate. This model, despite its Chinese origins, actively uses aggressive styling solutions, and now for 2026 has received a limited series.
Limited Green Hornet Series
The version is called the Attitude GT Green Hornet Edition and is offered exclusively in a subdued matte green color, which further emphasizes the sedan’s sharp lines. Dodge already released the same GT Green Hornet Edition last year, limiting its production to just 300 units nationwide. Clearly, the car’s popularity prompted Stellantis to bring it back, this time limiting the run to 150 cars.
2025 Dodge Attitude GT Green Hornet Edition Is All Bark, No Extra Bite
The exclusive green paint is complemented by a black grille with matte black elements, enhancing the contrast. The sedan also comes standard with unique 18-inch satin-black alloy wheels.

Sporty Design
The sporty theme continues at the rear thanks to a fixed spoiler, a motorsport-inspired diffuser, and quad exhaust tips, which, as it turns out later, promise more than they can actually deliver.
Pricing Policy
Unexpectedly, the starting price of the 2026 Attitude GT Green Hornet Edition has decreased compared to last year. As reported by Moparinsider, it dropped from 488,900 pesos (or $28,500) to 463,900 pesos ($27,000).
Performance Questions
Unfortunately, the attractive green Attitude did not receive any updates in terms of performance compared to the standard model. It retains the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 168 hp and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

According to Dodge, the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) sprint takes 6.95 seconds, which is a perfectly acceptable result for this segment, even if the design hints at something more dramatic.
Reasons for Absence in the US Market
Stellantis does not sell the Attitude in the USA for several reasons. First, such a sedan would likely not find demand in the current market. But more importantly, the Attitude is not a product developed in North America. Essentially, it is a rebadged version of the Chinese GAC Empow, which means import tariffs would make its sale impractical before it even hit the showroom.
This case clearly demonstrates how global automakers adapt their products to regional markets. Mexico gets an affordable, aggressively styled sedan that suits local preferences, while in the US the focus is on other types of vehicles. The limited run of the Green Hornet Edition, despite the lack of technical changes, is a classic marketing move to maintain interest and exclusivity for a model that might otherwise remain an ordinary offering. The price drop for the new limited series may indicate a desire to attract more buyers or an optimization of production costs for the special version.
