Unique Bentley Blower Jnr by Jason Momoa
Famous actor, director, and car enthusiast Jason Momoa has added another unusual vehicle to his collection. This time it is a highly personalized version of the Bentley Blower Jnr — an electric replica at 85% scale of the legendary 1929 supercharged Bentley race car.
This miniature electric car, created by the British company Hedley Studios in partnership with Bentley Motors, is already considered one of the quirkiest vehicles on the market. However, Momoa decided it lacked individuality.
Exclusive details and design
The result is a unique example featuring over 100 specially developed or custom components. The car is painted in a special shade called Momoa Crimson, has exterior details made from aged brass, and a special dashboard made from koa wood. The craftsmen aimed to create an aged look rather than a flawless museum piece.
Inside the cabin, there is a “Momoa 1 of 1” plaque and, perhaps the most characteristic Momoa element — a gear shifter in the shape of a hand-carved brass skull. According to Hedley Studios, creating this skull alone took over 100 hours of manual labor. The car also features a special radiator badge with the number “666”. As the company explains, this is a tribute to Momoa’s grandfather, who had the nickname “El Diablo”.
Appearance in the series and technical specifications
This project is featured in the second season of the series On The Roam on HBO Max. Hedley Studios workshop appears in the episode released today. The series follows Momoa as he meets with artisans, builders, and craftsmen from various fields, making such a collaboration seem entirely natural.
For those unfamiliar with the Blower Jnr, it is worth noting that it is a road-legal electric replica of the iconic Bentley 4½ Litre Supercharged race car. It is equipped with an electric motor producing 20 hp (15 kW), providing a range of up to 65 miles (105 km). Despite its toy-like proportions, the car is certified for use on public roads in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the USA. However, do not expect to see it on a highway — it cannot even accelerate to 50 miles per hour. It is more of a car, or rather the most luxurious cruiser for coastal towns.
This project demonstrates how modern technologies and a personalized approach can transform even a small electric car into a true work of art. Collaboration with a star of Jason Momoa’s caliber not only draws attention to the brand but also emphasizes that even in the world of electric vehicles, there remains room for unique design and handcraftsmanship. Furthermore, the car’s use in the series On The Roam adds cultural value, turning an ordinary vehicle into a piece of modern pop culture.
