The Neue Klasse from BMW is preparing a new design for the 7-Series model

Updated BMW 7-Series: What has changed?

BMW is preparing to update the design of its entire model lineup, and the 7-Series is no exception. The new version will get rid of the excessively large radiator grilles, which were controversial, in favor of a more balanced look. The upper part of the grille is now finished in glossy black, and horizontal slats have replaced the vertical ones.

According to one reviewer:

The 7-Series is probably the most unattractive BMW model today. The split headlights and giant grilles make it look like a counterfeit.

However, the updates may fix this.

Other changes

Changes to the sides and rear are less noticeable, but new alloy wheel designs and updated LED taillights are expected. The interior will likely receive a new Panoramic Vision system—a full-width display instead of the current dual screen. Luxurious options for rear passengers will remain, such as the fold-out 31-inch 8K screen and touch-sensitive control panels in the doors.

Technical updates will be minimal: the model will retain its current engine lineup, including the electric i7. Despite the external changes, the 7-Series continues to be a technologically advanced executive sedan with a high level of comfort. Final details will be known after the official presentation of the updated model.
