In Pistyn (Ivano-Frankivsk region), a very unusual LuAZ-969M from 1990 is up for sale. The Ukrainian SUV has been transformed into a six-wheeled pickup truck.
The LuAZ’s rear part was cut off and a cargo bed was added. Overall, it resulted in a sort of smaller six-wheeled G-Class.
By the way, tuning LuAZ to resemble a G-Wagon is actually quite popular.
Although, for some reason, it seems to us that in this case, the car’s creators were more likely not thinking about Mercedes but just wanted to build a practical pickup.
The car, by the way, is inexpensive—it’s only priced at $1500. Incidentally, at one time, LuAZ made six-wheeled vehicles, though based on a more modern model 1301.
