Gradual Expansion of the Offering
Hyundai recently announced plans to release 36 completely new or significantly updated models, including new variants of the N lineup. While these cars are being prepared for launch, the manufacturer is already starting sales of high-performance N Performance Parts accessories in the United States.
The new line of accessories, designed for the Elantra N and Ioniq 5 N models, will be available at select dealerships. Currently, the company’s specialized parts website is not very helpful in identifying them without some effort.
Style and Exterior
The collection includes a range of stylish accessories. Both models can be fitted with Performance Blue-colored wheel center caps with the “N” logo, “N Performance” decals, and black wheel nuts.
The offering for the Elantra N is broader: a carbon fiber rear spoiler and carbon fiber mirror caps are available. Owners can also install 19-inch forged alloy wheels, which weigh approximately 10.5 kg and have a matte black finish.
Interior Updates
The interior changes are more noticeable. The cars can be equipped with a stylish steering wheel upholstered in Alcantara, which promises “improved grip and control” as well as an “elegant, luxurious feel.” Interestingly, Hyundai provides an excellent installation guide with photos, diagrams, and detailed explanations.
Other interior upgrades include floor mats with the N logo and door sill plates. The latter are made of “high-quality alloy” and provide “reliable protection against scratches and scuffs.”
Elantra N drivers can outfit the interior with a whole range of Alcantara accessories. In addition to the aforementioned steering wheel, this model offers a shift lever, handbrake lever, and center armrest made from this material.
Cost of Personalization
Prices vary depending on the component. For example, the armrest costs $75, while the steering wheel will set you back $600. Each wheel costs $811, and the spoiler is $3,500. This is a fairly significant amount, considering the base price of the Elantra N starts at $35,100.

Additional parts are planned for the future. Hyundai representative June Park noted:
These meticulously designed N Performance Parts provide high performance and motorsport-inspired design for N car owners seeking greater performance and a higher degree of design personalization.
The launch of the N Performance Parts program in the American market clearly demonstrates Hyundai’s strategy for developing its “hot” lineup. This is not only a source of additional revenue but also a way to deepen the connection with enthusiasts by offering them official, manufacturer-guaranteed ways to improve the car. Such programs often become an important element in forming a community around the brand, especially in niche performance-oriented segments. The cost of some components, like the spoiler, may seem high, but it is typical for certified carbon fiber parts from the manufacturer, which includes not only the material but also engineering testing for compatibility, aerodynamics, and safety.
