Three unique Porsche 911s in honor of “Toy Story 5”

The “Toy Story” franchise is iconic and multi-generational, making each new film in theaters a significant event. This month, “Toy Story 5” hits screens, and to celebrate, Porsche has presented three unique 911 models created through its Sonderwunsch division, inspired by the films.

You might ask yourself, why would anyone order a Porsche 911 that looks like a “Toy Story” character? That’s a good question. But these three special 911s were not ordered by customers; instead, they were commissioned by Porsche itself and will be sold at a charity auction benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS Buzz Lightyear

The first of the three is a striking 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. It is painted in a combination of white, yellow-green, lizard green, fiery red, light sport gray, and purple, just like the beloved character. As with any Sonderwunsch creation, the attention to detail is incredible: elements such as the front louvers, the driver’s side air intake, and the upper element of the rear wing are painted in purple.

Porsche has also added “Space Ranger” logos on the trunk lid, hood, and side sills, and even inscribed “Lightyear” on the Goodyear tires. The interior is also custom-made: carbon fiber sill plates with the inscription “To Infinity and Beyond”, white and gray leather with Alcantara, and purple accents.

Porsche 911 Carrera T Woody

The second car is inspired by Woody and takes the form of a 911 Carrera T. It is much more restrained, finished in a special blue color that imitates the look of denim fabric, using a combination of Golf Blue, White, and Dark Sea Blue. Some elements, including the front splitter, rearview mirrors, window trim, and center wheel caps, have an Aurum finish, which contrasts with Coffee Black accents elsewhere.

As for the interior, it combines vintage brown leather with Cognac and Dark Night Blue leather, complemented by Cohiba Brown stitching and a yellow-red checkered pattern on the seatbacks. The sill plates read “Ride Like the Wind!”.

Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS Jessie

Completing the trio is a 911 Targa 4 GTS designed in Jessie’s style. It is painted in a special shade of Jessie White Metallic and includes areas painted in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic. The car also features a striking red GTS Red stripe, and the Targa top imitates the hat worn by Jessie, with a beige trim. It has arguably the most dramatic interior of all: Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Pebble Grey leather with Pebble Grey stitching. The floor mats have a black-and-white cowhide pattern, and the sill plates read “Yee Haw!”.

All three cars will debut at the world premiere of “Toy Story 5” in Los Angeles on June 9. Porsche has not yet set a date for when they will be sold.

These unique cars not only showcase the craftsmanship of the Sonderwunsch division but also highlight the brand’s ability to blend high technology with pop culture. Each model is a distinct work of art that reflects the character of its persona, from the dynamic Buzz to the stylish Woody and the daring Jessie. The charity auction adds special significance to this initiative, turning the cars into tools for supporting important social programs.
