Lego and Bugatti Have Introduced a Centodieci Model for Collectors
Bugatti and Lego have joined forces to create a scaled model of the legendary Centodieci supercar. This set of 291 pieces allows everyone to add a piece of the exclusive automobile to their collection, the real version of which is limited to only 10 units in the world.
The model measures 15 cm in length, 7 cm in width, and 4 cm in height. Although it is made in the Lego Speed Champions style with characteristic “blockiness,” the designers managed to reproduce key elements of the Centodieci, such as the rear spoiler, air intakes behind the windows, and the signature radiator grille.
“The Bugatti Centodieci is one of the most distinctive models in our history. Thanks to the collaboration with Lego, more people will be able to touch this legend,” noted Bugatti’s director, Wiebke Stahl.
This model has been available for purchase since August 1st at a price of $26.99. For comparison, the real Centodieci costs over $10 million and requires special storage conditions, while its Lego version will easily fit on a shelf.
The collaboration between a premium automaker and a toy manufacturer opens up new opportunities for popularizing the brand among the younger generation. It also demonstrates how modern technologies make the inaccessible – accessible, at least in miniature form.
