Bugatti golf set worth $72,000 exceeds the price of a new Corvette

Bugatti and Honma: joint release of exclusive golf clubs

Just a few weeks after McLaren launched its own line of clubs and accessories, Bugatti became the next exotic car manufacturer to turn to golf. While the British company acted independently, Bugatti brought in a specialist, joining forces with high-end Japanese brand Honma to do it properly.

The clubs from Bugatti and Honma look more like works of art than items enthusiasts will use on the course. The most impressive of all is the Super Premium Bugatti Putter, available in two configurations: 4 Star and 5 Star.

Inspired by the rear of the Bugatti Tourbillon, the putter looks unlike any other on the market. It features a custom-milled head with a distinctive grip, and the sole is inspired by the tachometers used in Bugatti cars. If you show up at your local golf course with these clubs, you will surely evoke envy among rivals and friends. And if you arrive at the golf course parking lot in a Bugatti Chiron with these clubs, you will be king.

Engineering excellence

Bugatti and Honma have also released two different collections of irons and drivers. The first, known as the Beres Super Premium Collection, will be available in Honma 3 Star, 4 Star, and 5 Star configurations, which denote the quality of materials and their exclusivity. The 3 Star and 4 Star models feature a stunning ice-blue finish, inspired by Bugatti’s signature two-tone paint. The 5 Star version will be limited to just 20 sets worldwide.

While the Beres Super Premium collection is specifically described as a “collectible work of art,” serious golfers may be tempted to purchase the Tour World Premium collection. These clubs are made from titanium-carbon composite and are designed to deliver maximum performance.

Stunning prices

Although we considered the recently released McLaren clubs expensive, these make them look cheap. The base version of the 4 Star putter costs $3,200, while the 5 Star version costs $9,600. The most affordable set is the Tour World Premium collection in the 3 Star configuration, available from $6,500. Meanwhile, the 3 Star, 4 Star, and 5 Star versions of the Beres Super Premium collection cost $12,500, $25,000, and $72,000 respectively. This highest figure surpasses the base 2027 Corvette Stingray, which starts at $70,000.

This partnership demonstrates how luxury automakers are expanding their influence into other lifestyle areas, turning sports equipment into true luxury items. The cost of some sets exceeding the price of a new sports car underscores that the target audience for such products is not just golfers, but collectors and connoisseurs of exclusive items for whom price is not a decisive factor. Limited series and unique designs inspired by hypercars make these clubs not so much a tool for the game as an investment in style and status.
