The New Bronco Version Is So Classic It Could Already Retire

Ford Bronco Celebrates 60 Years with an Anniversary Edition

In October, Ford will release a special retro version of the Bronco dedicated to the model’s 60th anniversary. The anniversary package will include design elements inspired by the 1966 original but will not make changes to the already high off-road capabilities of the vehicle. The trim will be available for the Outer Banks version with two engine options: a 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost or an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6.

A standard part of the package will be the Sasquatch package, which includes a suspension with increased ground clearance, locking differentials, 35-inch Goodyear tires, and an updated final drive ratio. Among the retro elements are 17-inch wheels with red center caps that replicate the design of the original Bronco, as well as a grille with red lettering.

Design and Interior Details

The car can be ordered in two color options: Wimbledon White with a white roof or Ruby Red with a contrasting white roof. Additional elements include side steps, a special rear wheel cover with a red Bronco logo, and a matte black applique on the rear doors.

The interior features 60th-anniversary logos on the seatbacks, red accents on the instrument panel and handles, as well as special grab handles on the pillars.

Sales of the anniversary edition will begin in the fall, but the exact price has not yet been disclosed. The information is expected to be released soon, as the start of sales is scheduled for October.

This version of the Bronco is likely to become popular among collectors and brand enthusiasts due to its unique combination of modern technology and nostalgic design. The standard Sasquatch package is especially noteworthy, making this model even more attractive to those who value off-road capabilities.
