Bentley’s First Electric Car Will Be a 1150-Horsepower Crossover

Bentley is preparing its first electric car – and it will be a mid-size crossover that in 2026 is set to redefine the notion of “electric luxury”. The model will be more compact than the Bentayga, approximately 5 meters long, and will feature the brand’s signature elegance with traits of the Bentley EXP 15 concept. Production will be established at the brand’s main factory in Crewe, so the newcomer will immediately have the status of a “proper” Bentley.

Built on the PPE platform, the electric crossover will essentially be a relative of the new electric Porsche Cayenne. And this opens the door to impressive performance: according to preliminary data, the powertrains can deliver up to 1150 hp. The 108 kWh battery will provide a range of over 600 km, and the 800-volt system will support charging with a capacity of up to 350 kW – approximately 6-7 minutes, and you’ll have an extra 160 km of range.

Despite the fact that this model will become one of the most affordable Bentleys with a price tag at the level of the base Bentayga (about $200,000), the brand does not plan to save on luxury. Inside – classic materials, leather, wood, and a modern feature in the form of a narrow display spanning the entire width of the dashboard.
