The Bugatti Chiron hypercar is already completely sold out and the remaining units will be assembled this year. Meanwhile, the development of its successor is underway, and the first information about it has emerged.
The new Bugatti hypercar was discussed by Mate Rimac, who recently took over the brand. He is known as the creator of Rimac electric supercars.

However, the new Bugatti will not be electric. Rimac said that rebranding the new Rimac Nevera as a Bugatti is not their path. Therefore, the hypercar will be a hybrid.
However, we can forget about the famous 8.0-liter W16 – it will no longer be there. The fact is that the existing Bugatti Chiron and Veyron engine is very old, having been created almost 20 years ago. It cannot be fit into new stringent eco-standards even as part of a hybrid setup, and Volkswagen did not provide the funds for the development of a modern W16.
