The BMW iNEXT photos have surfaced on the internet. The BMW electric crossover is currently considered a concept, but it will go into production in 2021. Its competitors will include the Tesla Model X, Jaguar I-Pace, and the Mercedes-Benz EQC.
The BMW iNEXT electric car is built on a new modular platform designed specifically for electric cars. It allows for different combinations of electric motors (136-272 hp) and drive types, as well as battery packs with varying capacities – from 60 to 120 kWh.
The design of the BMW iNEXT immediately presents features of the i3 electric car – the resemblance is especially noticeable in the profile. However, there are also quite original elements like the huge grille.
The BMW interior looks rather minimalist. There are no buttons inside, but there are two displays – a virtual instrument panel and a multimedia touchscreen.
