Polestar’s Purchase Incentives
Polestar, the electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced significant financial incentives aimed at attracting new customers, particularly owners of Tesla vehicles. The goal is to intensify the competitive struggle in the U.S. electric vehicle market.
Attractive Offers for the Polestar 3 Model
Until the end of April, a special program is in effect for the 2025 model year Polestar 3. Thanks to the so-called “Clean Transportation Incentive” from Polestar amounting to $18,000, the starting price for this crossover is significantly reduced. Furthermore, the company offers an additional $3,000 bonus to any current Tesla owner who decides to purchase or lease a Polestar 3.
Key points of the promotion:
Broad Scope of Program Participants
The benefits of the promotion extend not only to Tesla owners. Polestar’s loyalty policy stipulates:
Current Polestar owners are eligible for a $3,000 bonus, while owners or lessees of internal combustion engine vehicles or electric vehicles from the BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, or Cadillac brands receive an incentive bonus of $1,000.
Costco club members can receive an additional discount of $1,000 or $1,250. Thus, the total potential savings for a buyer can reach $21,000, and for Costco members, up to $22,250.

Model and Price Details
It is important to note that these incentives apply specifically to the 2025 model year Polestar 3, which features a 400-volt electric architecture. The upcoming 2026 model will already have a more modern 800-volt system. However, even the previous version remains a quality electric vehicle, especially at the new, more attractive price. The discounts also make other configurations more accessible: the Long Range Dual Motor will cost less than $55,000, and the version with the Performance Pack — less than $60,000.
Incentives for the Polestar 4 Model
Polestar has also launched an incentive program for the latest 2026 model year Polestar 4. It is eligible for a “Clean Transportation Incentive” of $10,000. This discount can be combined with other offers:
- A $4,000 bonus for Tesla owners.
- A $3,000 loyalty bonus for existing Polestar customers.
- A $1,000 bonus for owners of BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, or Cadillac models.
Discounts of up to $1,250 are also provided for Costco members. Thanks to the main $10,000 incentive, the price of the Polestar 4 in the Long Range Single Motor configuration drops to $46,400, and the Long Range Dual Motor to $52,900.
Such aggressive marketing steps indicate intense competition in the electric vehicle market. Manufacturers are actively seeking ways not only to attract new customers but also to win over supporters of leaders like Tesla. Such programs can become a decisive argument for buyers considering options, especially when it comes to high-quality cars at a reduced price. This may also contribute to the accelerated renewal of vehicle fleets and the popularization of electric vehicles among a wider range of consumers.
