New Nissan Z Heritage Edition
Since its debut in 2021, the seventh generation of the Nissan Z has consistently appealed to the nostalgia of car enthusiasts. Now, the company is further enhancing the retro vibe by introducing the special 2026 Z Heritage Edition, which is a true tribute to the models of the 1990s.
Design and Features
Presented at ZCON, the Heritage Edition is based on the Z Performance trim and includes elements inspired by the 300ZX and GT-R. The latter is particularly noticeable thanks to the luxurious Midnight Purple paint.
This is just the beginning, as the model is also equipped with 19-inch RAYS wheels with a bronze finish. The bronze accent is repeated in the graphics on the sides with the “Twin Turbo” inscription. Additionally, buyers will receive a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a special Heritage Edition emblem.
Interior and Technical Specifications
The interior mainly retains standard features but adds unique sill plates and floor mats. Since the version is based on the Performance trim, it features leather-and-suede seats, a digital instrument cluster, and a 9-inch multimedia system with navigation. A Bose audio system, HomeLink, and aluminum pedals are also included.
The engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, producing 400 hp (298 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is available, or an optional nine-speed automatic.
Price and Availability
The Heritage Edition package costs $2,940, increasing the total price to $55,910.
In addition to the special edition, Nissan also announced that the base price for the 2026 Z will be $42,970, not including the $1,245 destination fee. Prices remain unchanged, although the destination fee has increased by $50.
This is good news at a time when model year updates are usually accompanied by significant price increases. Besides the Heritage Edition, updates are limited to a new exterior color, Boulder Gray, with a black roof.
