Renderings of two new SUV models from Renault Group have appeared on the internet. The cars turned out to be quite similar – they are almost in the same style.

We are talking about the Dacia/Renault Bigster crossover and the new generation Niva. Both models, by the way, are built on the same CMF-B platform. It is also used by Renault Captur and Nissan Juke.

More precisely, the new Niva will most likely be a rebadged Duster – this is clearly visible from the renderings. Meanwhile, the Bigster is positioned as the elder brother of Duster, with the promise of making the 4.6-meter crossover a seven-seater.

Both models will likely receive a 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 150 hp, like the Renault Arkana. Additionally, the Bigster will also be available in a 140-hp hybrid version, while the Niva will come with a 1.6-liter 114-hp naturally aspirated four-cylinder.
The Dacia Bigster is promised to be launched into production by 2025. The new Niva is expected to appear in 2024.
