The Tavria electric car was self-built in 4 months and cost 4000 dollars. They named it Kozak Electro. The ZAZ electric car is equipped with a 55 hp motor and can reach 110 km/h.

Its range is 300 km, with an additional 200 km provided by a “power bank” – a trailer with extra batteries. Ukrainians on an Electric Tavria Traveled from Dnipro to Berlin (video)

The road trip wasn’t without problems. In Poland, the gearbox broke, and they had to find a donor Tavria. In Berlin, the homemade electric car impressed Tesla owners and was also appreciated at the Ukrainian embassy. Ukrainians on an Electric Tavria Traveled from Dnipro to Berlin (video)

The creators of Kozak Electro do not intend to stop there.

In the future, a more advanced electric car will be built.
