The deputy minister of construction and housing and communal services, Lev Partskhaladze, announced the innovation. Such stations will be installed on category I roads. 
In Europe, emergency communication points are placed every few kilometers to quickly call the police, an ambulance, or a tow truck in case of an accident or other emergency situation.
This measure is aimed at increasing road safety.
