Cybertruck Owner Returned from Vacation to a Dead Electric Vehicle
Returning from vacation, a Tesla Cybertruck owner discovered that his car was completely dead, despite being plugged into the charger the entire time. The situation seemed especially strange since the car had been charging for two weeks in hot Arizona.
The owner, AJ Esguerra, contacted Tesla service, which quickly diagnosed the problem – a failed power converter. The company towed the car to a service center free of charge and repaired it. As the technicians reported, the breakdown was not related to either charging or high temperatures.
“They recommend leaving it plugged in all the time. It will stop charging when the battery is completely full,” Esguerra shared.
Tesla’s Quick Response
After a request via the app, Tesla service immediately dispatched a team to the location. The technicians “jump-started” the car, sent it for repair, and confirmed that the problem occurred due to a technical malfunction, not external conditions. The owner noted that the company covered all costs, and he can use his Cybertruck again.
This case became one of the few where Tesla’s service support worked flawlessly. Unlike other stories about problems with electric vehicles, here everything ended quickly and without unnecessary complications for the owner.
It can be concluded that even cutting-edge technologies sometimes have failures, but quick and quality service can completely rectify the situation. Tesla demonstrated that it is ready to respond promptly to malfunctions, which is especially important for electric vehicle owners who rely on the reliability of their cars.
