To accommodate the enormous engine, the team had to design a hood so long it makes the front of a Dodge Viper seem short. The British firm Fiber Glass Repairs created the car’s body, which was initially painted in a strange shade of yellow.
Since then, the car has received a metallic gray shell, and the front end has been modified, now featuring a chromed Rolls-Royce radiator grille. The car once had such a grille before, but Rolls-Royce sued them, which brought a lot of publicity to Dodd and his creation.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about “The Beast” is that it is not a stationary museum exhibit. It was designed as a fully functional car with independent suspension, large disc brakes, and a new transmission to handle all the torque.
According to the auction house, the engine produces between 750 and 850 horsepower, which reportedly allowed Dodd to reach speeds over 180 mph on the autobahn.
In addition to the exterior update, the interior has also been modernized. The car’s former yellow-orange interior has been replaced with black leather and Alcantara. The auction house expects it to sell for between £75,000 and £100,000.
