For many years, the most aggressive Cadillac Escalades on the road were the ones that were blacked out with heavily tinted windows — the perfect choice for regular owners, businessmen, rappers, and those who desperately wanted to be perceived as one of them. This has become the standard. That is why this modified Escalade IQL caught our attention.
Unique exterior appearance
This Escalade IQL was refined by DESIGNBYTWM from Texas, and the first thing that stands out is the Satin Silver White Aluminum wrap. Cadillac offers the electric Escalade in several perfectly decent colors, but a matte finish is not among them, and a matte finish usually suits a car of this size and price.
Make no mistake: there will be plenty of people, perhaps you among them, who will find this shade of matte silver cheap and tacky. But it will certainly find its fans, likely among the very same buyers who would otherwise have chosen a blacked-out Caddy on enormous wheels.
Speaking of wheels, this Escalade IQL sits on matte silver Giovanna wheels that perfectly complement the exterior. Combined with tinted windows and darkened rear lights, there is no denying that this Cadillac truly grabs attention.
Big and powerful

The IQL model is significantly longer than the standard Escalade IQ, and is also 1.5 inches (38 mm) longer than the gasoline-powered Escalade ESV. For those seeking maximum luxury while remaining loyal to an American brand, rather than choosing something German, this is undoubtedly one of the best options.
Powertrain and price
As for the powertrain, Cadillac equipped the SUV with a 205 kWh battery pack, which significantly impacts the curb weight. The good news is that there is enough power to move these 9,000 pounds (4082 kg): a pair of electric motors delivers 750 hp and 785 lb-ft (1063 Nm) of torque.
DESIGNBYTWM has not disclosed the cost of the modifications, but the word “cheap” does not apply here. The IQL model itself starts at $133,800 before adding any options.
This unconventional approach to tuning demonstrates that even in the premium EV segment, there is room for individuality. Instead of the traditional “black” style, the owner chose a light matte finish, making the car no less eye-catching but more refined. Given the growing popularity of electric SUVs, such custom projects could become a new trend among wealthy buyers seeking to stand out even among other luxury vehicles.
