Dodge Introduces New Gasoline-Powered Charger Starting at $50 Thousand

Dodge Introduces New Gasoline-Powered Charger Models

Fans of muscle cars can once again turn to Dodge dealers. After the introduction of the electric Daytona version, which did not find great demand, the company has finally shown the coupe that everyone was waiting for.

The new Sixpack Chargers do not have a V8 or a manual transmission, but they offer a better price compared to the electric versions and a genuine engine sound.

Technical Features

The base R/T is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with a power of 420 hp (426 PS) for a price of $49,999. The Scat Pack version for $54,995 offers 550 hp and acceleration to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

Although the electric Daytona Scat Pack is faster by 0.6 seconds, it costs $18,990 more than the gasoline version, and its “digital exhaust” cannot compare to the real engine sound.

Design and Additional Options

Externally, the gasoline version is almost identical to the electric one, retaining the wide rear fenders and the influence of the ’68 Charger design. The Scat Pack offers 20-inch wheels, an active sport exhaust system, and adaptive cruise control. The Blacktop and Carbon & Suede packages are also available for those who want to add more exclusivity.

Orders for the two-door Scat Pack version will start to be accepted from August 13, while the R/T and the four-door Scat Pack will go on sale in the first half of 2026. Interestingly, despite the lack of a V8, the new Chargers may become worthy successors to the legendary models thanks to their power and characteristic sound.
