The photo was taken near Moscow in the winter. The Aurus Senat with a “bucket sign” on the roof stopped at the roadside due to some technical issues.

Two more Aurus vehicles are seen behind it, suggesting a test drive was taking place. Recall that Aurus vehicles (Cortege project) were created for the Russian government elite with the participation of Porsche engineers. They were supposed to go on sale at the beginning of 2018, but the production line has not been launched yet. Now there is talk of starting production at the end of 2020. The extended Aurus Senat is owned by Vladimir Putin, however, the Russian president rarely uses it and mainly travels in the old reliable Mercedes S600 Pullman Guard.
